Ashleigh Dawn

Ashleigh Dawn was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She works predominantly in painted mediums such as oil paint, encaustic and acrylic paint. Her painting genres are mostly in abstraction, landscape (particularly trees and flowers) and surrealism.  Birchwood Gallery is currently representing her birch tree encaustic series. Ashleigh graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Manitoba in 2007 and received the Gold Medal Award for Highest Standing in her graduating class. Followed after with a Bachelor of Education from the U of M in 2009, she now teaches as a Fine Arts Teacher in the middle year’s education stream while continuing her passion in creating art.
